The Toast is hiring an intern! Did you miss the early summer rush? Now is your chance to become one for the next three months. Goths and non-Goths are encouraged to apply.
Some qualities we would like in our (goth???) intern:
- Experience with site metric work and Google ad exchange
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS
- WordPress experience, particularly customizing and troubleshooting WordPress themes and plugins
- “Angry” rather than “mopey” goth (if you are a goth)
Some things we will ask of you:
- 5-10 hours of work a week. Mostly “tech stuff” but with some contract processing and comment moderating, just to keep you on your toes.
Some things we will offer you:
- Money (not lots. But some money.)
- Course credit, if you want it, although a degree or enrollment in higher education are not requirements.
Other things of note:
You can work from anywhere in the country. You do not have to live in New York! This is true for many things, not just internships.
